Biographical Info

James H. Brandt, born in Canada and a former executive with Anheuser-Busch and founder/owner of a business marketing firm, has an in-depth understanding of finance and economics. He combines this real world experience with a business education from leading universities on two continents. James received a B.A. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and his Certificado de Estudios from the Universidad de Madrid, Spain.  He earned an MBA from Columbia State University, and his CIMA designation at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

James is a member various organizations including the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA), World Affairs Council, East Bay Leadership Council, Commonwealth Club, American Cancer Society, California Symphony Orchestra and the American Himalayan Foundation. He is a City of Los Angeles Marathon Legacy Member, a global mountaineer, and a regular contributor of professional articles for publications in the San Francisco Bay Area.  For several years James has been rated in the top 3% of Bay Area financial advisors.
