Biographical Info

As Residential Leadership Manager, Dante assumes responsibility for the implementation of resident power-building strategies within Healthy Richmond’s policy advocacy campaigns.  A proud Filipino-American son of two immigrant parents within a family of 6, Dante graduated from Richmond High School in 2017 and from UC Berkeley in 2021 as a first-generation student majoring in Public Health.  His interest in the field of public health is due to his deep understanding of the distribution of diseases among lower-income communities of color and his passion to be a part of the solution by learning to integrate efforts of anti-racism to ensure healthy policies and safer environments.

Before coming to RCF Connects, Dante has previously worked at a retail store, the UC Berkeley Ethnic Studies Library, the Berkeley School of Public Health as a research assistant, and at the City of Richmond and Contra Costa Health Services as an intern. In his free time, Dante enjoys going to the gym and playing volleyball.
