The last workshop in our summer series to help summer program providers prepare high-quality summer programs for their students. Participants will receive copies of books, strategies for engaging youth, incentives for reading, and opportunities to connect with other programs.
This engaging workshop is presented by Ms. Sheryl Davis, the current Executive Director of the San Francisco Human Rights Commission. Sheryl was the former Executive Director of Collective Impact, a collaborative neighborhood resource for SF’s Western Addition, where she oversaw Mo’MAGIC, Magic Zone, and the Ella Hill Hutch Community Center. She is a long-time San Francisco educator.
Workshop is open to all community partners and service providers planning to offer summer literacy programs in West Contra Costa County. However, we ask that you register to ensure that we have enough supplies and snacks for all participants.
