The Richmond Community Foundation is managing the U.C. Berkeley Richmond Community Partnership Fund grant program in partnership with the University and an Advisory Board made up of campus and community leaders.

The U.C. Berkeley Richmond Community Partnership Fund supports projects and programs that establish, extend, or strengthen collaborative partnerships between the University and the Richmond community. The Partnership Fund seeks to enhance the quality of life for people who live in Richmond by connecting the University’s energy and resources with those of the community.

“The Richmond Community Foundation and UC Berkeley are pleased to announce the funding of ten community/campus partnerships in Richmond that are collaborating to improve education, provide recreational activities for youth, strengthen local businesses, and address a variety of community needs.  The one-time grants were made possible through a community partnership fund established by the university two years ago and administered through a partnership with the Richmond Community Foundation.”  To view the full press release, please click here.
